VWH CAMP Dates 2017

Dates for 2018

March 15th-18th

September 23rd-26th

 Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre

24th - 27th September 2017

VWH Autumn Camp 2017 will be at Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre

We have been lucky enough to secure POLLY WILLIAMSON once again to instruct us, and due to camp being so popular we have also booked a second instructor JON EVANS so that more members can join us.

Polly Williamson won six gold medals as Junior and young Rider European Championships (as Polly Lyon riding Highland Road and Folly's Last) as well as numerous other wins at International competitions, including placings at both Badminton and Burghley. Since her accident  - a severe brain injury in 2011 Polly has become a very successful and popular local trainer and understands the pressures in preparing well for competitions at all levels. She is a well respected trainer from Pony/Riding Club to International level and this experience and natural empathy underpins her coaching.

Jon Evans

Jon has been eventing Internationally for many years, including riding at Badminton and  Burghley.  However, much of his work is with every-day riders and he has vast experience of working with "problem" and young horses. Whether you're a weekend rider preparing to ride your first dressage test or have ambitions to ride at Badminton, Jon works with the natural instincts of the horse, resolving riding issues through persuasion and co-operation.  Improvement in the physical performance is then simply a natural follow-on.

He is well known for his ability to help riders develop greater self belief in their riding, closer communication and deeper understanding with their horses - a common language.  His empathic style focuses on the psychology of the horse and its individuality, removing many of the obstacles to harmonious progress and mutual enjoyment.

Total cost is £340.

Groups are no more than 4, and will be matched as closely as possible to horse and rider ability and aspirations - we want everyone to have fun (not to terrify you!)
